Chapter 11 Surprise battle in the midnight forest

Claire whined as she punched the goblin that jumped out.

Louis and his friends find themselves in an unexpected battle in the forest as night falls.

After changing the battle location, they were once again surrounded by a swarm of monsters.

Louis and his friends managed to form a formation and fight.

With Iris in the center, Louis in front and Claire in the back.

However, that idea was suddenly denied after another hour had passed and Louis and his friends had changed the battlefield two or three times.

Perhaps the monsters that had been waiting at the entrance to the forest attacked at once, probably growing tired of not being able to push through at all.

While Claire was overwhelmed by the response, three orcs rushed in from the front and left and right at the right time.

Louis and his friends were slow to react to the enemy’s attack, which changed in an instant.

Louis cut down the orc that was charging head-on, and Iris burned the orc that was charging from the left with holy light. However, one orc breaks through the vanguard and approaches Iris.

However, the orc who was just one step away from Iris was cut off by Louis, who attacked with his explosive physical ability.

The demons that rushed in from behind were all crushed by Claire.

The demons and monsters waiting at the entrance to the forest were defeated, and the situation where they had no choice but to wait for the sun to rise was beginning to break down.

It was at that moment that Iris felt a small smile of joy as she finally saw hope after a long battle.

Three arrows aimed at her.

Louis quickly responded to the arrow that was shot at the slightest opportunity.

One of them was cut off with a holy sword.

He brushed one away with his hand.

However, the last one was aimed at the center of Iris’s torso, and she was unable to deal with it—Louis inserted his body between hers.
